Senior Event Crew Member

 

Location: Abersoch / Various across England/Scotland (travel required)

Contract type: Freelance work- Casual / Ad Hoc around event portfolio (dates below)

Competitive day rate / hourly rate (dependent on experience)

 

Sensation Group are looking for a reliable, hands-on individual to support event operations for their event portfolio across the year. This role suits someone practical, flexible, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments. You’ll be assisting with setup, breakdown, transport, and general on-site support across our annual running and triathlon event calendar. 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Loading, transporting, and unloading event equipment (often using a van)
• Assisting with event setup and pack-down (structures, signage, equipment, etc.)
• Supporting on-site operations during live events
• Handling basic problem-solving and last-minute changes calmly and efficiently
• Maintaining equipment care and organisation
• Representing the team professionally 

 

Requirements

 

• Full driving licence (essential)
• Confident driving a van (essential)
• Practical, hands-on skillset and good common sense
• Physically fit and able to lift/carry equipment
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work early mornings / late finishes
• Flexible availability, including weekends and occasional long days

 

Desirable (Not Essential)

 

• Previous experience working in events, production, or similar environments
• Abersoch based or near by

 

Events and Dates (We understand you may have commitments on some dates)

 

• 7th – 9th May: THE ROC Wales
• 29th – 30th May: ABERSOCH 10K
• 18th – 20th June: ABERSOCH TRIATHLON
• 3rd – 5th Sept: THE ROC England
• 18th – 19th Sept: ABERSOCH COAST TRAIL
• 1st – 3rd Oct: THE ROC Scotland
