THE ROC is sold out but at 11:30am on Saturday there is a 4.6km Trail Race that starts and finishes on Abersoch beach. There are still entries available at www.abersochtriplecrown.com/roc-mini-trail-4-6/ or you can enter at The Vaynol on Friday 5pm – 9pm or on the morning of the race. If you’re not entering then get down to the beach by the middle slip ramp and support those that are taking part, especially for the start and swim at 8am and then when they return to the finish from 1pm onwards. There’s a bar and music with Darren Proctor of Greatest Hits Radio and Chris Hawkins of BBC 6 Music hosting throughout the day. For further information go to www.theroc.com
