Abersoch Beach is sheltered and sandy, with safe swimming and great views of the Snowdonia mountains of West Wales. There are boat trips to St Tudwal's and Bardsey Islands and there is always a great atmosphere.

The main beach in Abersoch is very popular with water sports enthusiasts. Wakeboarding, paddleboarding and water-skiing when there is no wind and windsurfing and sailing when the wind picks up.

There are often sailing events taking place off Abersoch Beach, with running events and triathlons too. There are 2 beach cafes, a sailing school and South Caernarfonshire Yacht Club (SCYC).

Abersoch Golf Club is situated very close to the beach. A large part of the course runs just the other side of the sand dunes.

There are 2 car parks used for Abersoch Beach, one at the end of Lon Golff (Golf Road), where you can launch boats and the other accessed from the centre of Abersoch, up the side of W&G Williams Garage.

Toilets & outdoor showers are available at both locations.
